Religious Education and
Philosophy.

Catholic Theology

The study program of Catholic Theology lasts ten semesters and concludes with the academic degree of Baccalaurate of Theology (Sacrae Theologiae Baccalaureus) of pontifical right. After recognition by the University of Innsbruck the official title is Master of Theology in accordance with Austrian law.

Candidates for the priesthood are required to attend the additional pastoral year.

Catholic Religious Education

The study programme in Religious Sciences with orientiation Catholic Religious Education entails ten semesters. After three years it qualifies for a Baccalaureate in Religious Sciences (until 2021/22: Laurea in RS) and after two years of post-graduation it confers the Licentia in Scienze Religiose ad indirizzo pedagogico-didattico (until 2021/22: Magistero in RS). After recognition by the University of Innsbruck it confers the Bachelor or Master of Arts with specialisation in Catholic Religious Education in accordance with Austrian law.

Philosophy

The study of Philosophy is an educational offer in collaboration with the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck.

The courses take place in periodical cycles and are concluded with the academic degree of Bachelor in Philosophy – in Italy recognized as Laurea (L-5).
